Part-time Recruiter

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Recruiter to support the recruitment of nursing professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Charge Nurses. This flexible opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying top talent, and working independently while helping healthcare teams meet critical staffing needs.

Summary

As a Part-Time Recruiter, you will be sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for nursing positions. This role focuses on building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline while providing a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The position offers a remote flexible schedule of approximately 5–10 hours per week, with opportunities to engage candidates during evenings and weekends.

What You Will Be Doing

• Source and engage qualified nursing professionals through a variety of recruiting channels
• Conduct candidate outreach, screening conversations, and interview coordination
• Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates
• Collaborate with hiring teams to understand staffing priorities and position requirements
• Support a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and attract qualified RN and Charge Nurse candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, networking, and other sourcing methods
• Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, interest, and fit
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication between candidates and hiring teams
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
• Provide timely follow-up and status updates to candidates throughout the hiring process
• Assist with offer coordination and onboarding communications as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous recruiting experience required
• Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Experience recruiting Registered Nurses, Charge Nurses, or other clinical professionals highly preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a part-time schedule
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable engaging candidates during evenings and/or weekends as needed
