HR Business Partner-Benefits

Kansas City client that has an immediate opening for a HR Business Partner. This position will start out as a consulting project but has the potential to be contract to hire. They offer a hybrid office schedule.

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for health benefits and 401k administration: open enrollment planning, new employee enrollment/updating changes on plans, contribution change reporting and COBRA administration
  • Work with insurance broker during annual benefit planning and with ongoing communication
  • Workers compensation management, paying health and wellness invoices
  • Support workforce on employee benefit questions
  • Track employee car /fleet program
  • Support employee onboarding and leave management administration
  • Work with finance team on payroll and employee change management. Support a small portion of payroll processing.


  • 5 years + employee benefits administration experience with ability to improve processes
  • Effective communicator that works well with management team, employees and with vendor partners
  • Payroll and ADP experience a +
