Business Development Manager

Central Kansas Area

Our client that is in the construction/manufacturing equipment industry is hiring for a Business Development Manager. This role will be supported by a strong management team and provided a competitive benefits and compensation package. They have a fast-paced, team culture.

Position Overview:

  • Key focus on building new client base in the manufacturing/industrial and oil refinery industries.
  • Duties will include cold calls in-person or over the phone/email with target KPIs of new client meetings.
  • Staying up to date on multiple equipment lines for manufacturing as well as construction clients
  • Internal team support for technical sales process and ongoing training provided


This position will have a wide territory across central Kansas, but based on heavy client base areas candidate will need to live in the Salina or McPherson, KS area.

  • 2 years + experience of industrial/manufacturing sales. Understanding of the manufacturing industry and business cycles.
  • True “hunter” prospecting skills and ability to manage a high volume of prospects/clients
  • High school degree required. College degree or some college coursework desired.
  • Ability to drive and a valid driver’s license
