Controller

Our client that is in the service industry and is located just west of Schaumburg, Illinois is hiring a Controller to support their continued growth. This is an in-office position with some remote work flexibility.

Position Profile:

• In charge of monthly financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
• Some inventory and labor cost review
• Prepares monthly commission reports
• Oversees accounts payable and receivable

Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5 years + experience in accounting
• Management experience and ability to lead and mentor/train staff
• Effective communication skills with all levels within an organization
• Self-starter that can be proactive in evaluating and improving processes
