HR Manager

We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for one of our esteemed clients located in the Johnson County area of Kansas City. Summary

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for talent acquisition strategy and execution, building talent retention programs that support their culture as well as workforce planning/development. This role will also be responsible for employee relations, employee benefit planning and HR compliance. This position offers the opportunity to work with multiple branch offices and work closely with the leadership team and business owners. This is an in-office position.

What You Will Be Doing

• Work with management team on HR strategies that align with company growth plan
• Talent acquisition and employe retention strategies and execution
• Employee relations
• Employee benefit planning
• HR compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead work force/succession planning, develop recruiting plan that includes building relationships with area schools and partnerships
• Provide guidance and support to managers and executive team on employee interviews, employment offers and performance management. Lead/develop employee engagement programs and employee relations.
• Oversee all HR policy, safety regulations and compliance meeting all federal, state and local regulations
• Lead benefit and compensation planning and market analysis to ensure plans are competitive and attract and retain talent
• Collaborate with Director or Learning and Leadership Development to ensure programs align to meet business goals and all compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field. Master’s degree and/or HR certifications (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) preferred.
•  7 years + experience in Human Resources and 3 years + management experience
• Experience in service, manufacturing or construction industry preferred
