Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist for a manufacturing consulting organization serving Kansas manufacturers. This role offers a dynamic environment where creativity, strategy, and execution come together to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Summary

As a Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing and external partners to coordinate marketing initiatives, manage campaigns, and support business development efforts. This role requires a mix of strategic planning, project coordination, content development, and event execution to help drive engagement and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What You Will Be Doing

• Partner with internal teams and external marketing agencies to execute marketing strategies.
• Organize and implement multi-platform marketing campaigns.
• Maintain and enhance brand identity and awareness across all marketing efforts.
• Plan and coordinate trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
• Manage internal and external marketing communications, including promotions, blogs, SEO, and publication ads.
• Track marketing projects, report progress to leadership, and ensure deliverables are met.
• Analyze industry trends and customer data to support marketing decisions.
• Maintain marketing databases and utilize software tools for content management and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that align with business goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional marketing efforts with internal teams and external partners.
• Manage digital content, email marketing, and event promotions.
• Track marketing performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
• Represent the company at networking events and industry conferences.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of marketing experience (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with Salesforce, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Hootsuite is preferred.
• Project management, event coordination, and CRM experience a plus.
• Ability to travel occasionally for industry events (day and overnight travel required).
